I have an office I support that had a server system date of Sep 30, 9999. This is a remote office in another state so I can not get my hands on the server. I walked the office through changing the date and time, then had them restart. The office does not have an intenet connection and have no reason to bring in outside disks (I know don't laugh to loud). I connect via phone modem (PCAnywhere). Other than a bad Cmos battery does anyone know what would cause this?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

PC clocks can drift, sometimes significantly. Setup the PC to sync with an atomic clock (that requires Internet Access).

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
