Hello. I apologize in advance for the question if it's a stupid one.
We have an add-in called Mimecast. This add-in has a "Report Spam" button. It reports spam to the Mimecast people and moves the email to the Outlook Junk Email folder.
All emails are archived in Mimecast permanently. We have a 60-day retention policy which deletes emails from Exchange. So, if a user reports spam, the email is moved to Junk Email folder and eventually gets deleted, but it remains in the Mimecast archive...
Is there a way to monitor the Junk Email folder and, if there is anything there, forward it to another folder? There is a Mimecast folder called ~Shredder, which takes care of deleting permanently from Exchange AND from the Mimecast archive.
Currently, there is no way to change the destination folder for the Report Spam button in Mimecast. So, I'm hoping there is an Exchange-side solution.
Any ideas?
