server side image manipulation Photoshop Scripting

Has anyone ever tried to use Photoshop on a web server running ASP?

I have installed "Photoshop Scripting 1.0.2a" which will allow the manipulation of images programmatically through VBScript and JavaScript.

I'm wondering if these same scripts can be called by an ASP page running on IIS or Apache.

Currently, when I run the scripts on my local IIS/ASP server or Apache/Chilisoft!ASP server, they are not able to launch the Photoshop.exe file.. so I haven't been able to get past 1st base.
