Server share client issue

I have an exchange server with shares on it.
I have one or two issues lately whereby users cannot get into the shares.[Mapped dirves] Either the logon dialog box appears domain\username or I get bad username or password.

They can access there mail on the server, but still cannot open the share or via UNC e.g. \\server

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
