Server restarts at login screen

W2k server SP1. Locked up and was unable to restart without powering down. Now, it restarts everytime it gets to the login screen. Reboots ok into safe mode. Nothing in event viewer. No hardware or drivers have been recently added. Anyone have any ideas?

Go into safe mode and disable some hardware from the device manager and reboot to normal mode. (Video, Nic, Sound, etc). If you get into windows normal mode then enable the devices 1 at a time. After you reboot with the newly enabled device you can find out what device might cause this.

Note the same thing happened to me and It was my NIC card.
