I had to reinstall the OS on a Windows NT machine as the boot directory did not have enough free space. After this I
reinstall the Domino 5 server and replaced names.nsf and admin4.nsf before restarting the server and letting it run through the setup.

Following the restart the system appears to have hung after showing

Server started on physical node <name>

Does any body know what the server is likely to be doing during this period, and is there any way to force it up?
Also is there any way to monitor what it is doing/attempting to do?

check the properties of the console winddow that the server's running in, it might still be set to 'quick edit mode'

try pressing enter on the console

I managed to leave the computer for a good 10 hours overnight and it did eventually start up. I check the log file and it was the admin4 database that was causing the problem. The system was running out of memory resources.
