Server Problems

I'm running SBS2003, logged into the server yesterday (it gets switched off every night), it took a long time to log in. When eventually "in" no icons were on the desktop and only some programs run. The likes of Windows Explorer, IE will not open and come up with the following error: "Access to the specified device, path or file is denied"

The server is still running as I can connect to the shared drives and get email etc..

Help please........
