Hey guys
I Got my self a server licence from my school Its 2000 Server aswell as 28 lincens for the 28computer I got from them.

I got the server going on one of my other computers and I maxed everything out.
But I got active driector working and can log in on the client computers with out the user being presnet before the server like "test user" But the thing is they are geting user folders on the client systems, I want them on my Hard drive in the server "d". How would I get that to go?
Also how do I get network install to work? I did the steps on the server. and aswell set my computers to look on the network for a server and nothing happens excepts it just sits there.

Also If anything does not make sences its becuase english is not my mother toung, thanks guys

Are you talking about working with roaming profiles and Folder Redirection.

Is this RIS you are referring to?

Just make sure that your server has a static IP and also has the DNS which is itself listed in the NIC.
Have you configured a DHCP scope. e.g. 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.254 255.255.255.0 or 192.168.0.0 -> 192.168.3.254 255.255.252.0, up to you how many sub nets you want to play with, and set an exclusion for you server and broadcast addresses e.g 192.168.0.255 etc.
