Server not responding to new hard drives dell poweredge r710

dell poweredge R710, 2 hard drives failed, installed 2 replacement hard drives and it shows now lights at all. accessing the server is very slow. any thoughts?
 
Perhaps if you did not spare a few words to describe your configuration you might get an answer, not many of have a crystal ball; personally mine is out for re-calibration.
With the infinitesimal info given, sound like you have a raid which is rebuilding, during a rebuild, the server would be very slow.

If the two drives were part of a RAID volume, it's probably in some kind of limp mode. With a two drive failure, there's a good chance it doesn't have enough info to rebuild the drives. That depends a lot on how it was configured.

You could try rebooting (if you haven't, but that could really break the RAID volume. Again, I'm assuming the drives were part of of a RAID volume.
