Server Not Responding in Setup

I have a user that by all accounts should be able to connect to the server. He can ping it, he can map a drive to it, but when in Notes he is to told that "Server Not Responding" when trying to go through Notes setup. We have checked the hosts file and tried connecting to the server three different ways. Any Ideas??

Try deleting the names.nsf file and starting your setup again.

Is the client machine running on NT4 and the network on TCPIP? I had a similar problem and had to install a service pack for NT4 before it would support TCPIP and Notes together.
