Server Not Responding during Setup

I have a machine running R4.6.6 client attached to an R5 server. It worked fine till we changed users on the machine. Now, when trying to setup the workstation, we are getting the error "Server Not Responding". He can ping the server, the server is listed in the Hosts file on his machine, we are able to map a drive to the server. We have tried all of the naming conventions we have for our server and none of them work. Any ideas?
