Server not opened error

What is the meaning of this error?

Error Occurred Reading Records: Server has not yet been opened.

I open a simple report through the web with parameters. For testing purposes, I print the name of the parameters I am passing and the report I am trying to open. It shows the right parameters and the right report. But I get this Crystal based error. How can I rectify it?

FYI - my asp page and the crystal report lie in the same web folder.

Sounds like you aren't logging into the database.
