I would like to know the bare minimum setup on a NW5.1 server to be able to ping/access/locate by name and not just by its IP from win98 workstations. What, if any, configurations need to be set up in the DNS-DHCP Management Console? Or do I need to set this in the INETCFG utility? I have not been able to find information that is clear on this. Thanks in advance for any advice. Mike

As long as the server has a valid TCPIP Address and you have setup the DNS Resolver Configuration within INETCFG / PROTOCOLS / TCPIP, you should be okay.

Good Luck!
