Hi Guys,
A recent server migration to new hardware completed successfully, but has created a problem with the URL.
Before, when you type in [example]into the address bar. You went to site and it appeared in the address bar as simply:
After migration, however, we seem to have lost something along the way (or gained, depending on your persepective,) and now when you type the above into the address bar, you get:
I have explored URL ISAPI Rewriters and the ASP.NET Variations (This is ASP.NET 2.0 on WS2003/IIS6,) but it doesn't appear to be missing anything that was on the previous server.
There are proprietary libraries and functions in place and the entire site is connected to an MSSQL Server where some of the pages are generated dynamically.
Am I missing something stupid here?
Any and all suggestions will be welcomed. This is now hour 72 and our SEO will suffer if it's not sorted.
Thanks a million in advance.
