hi,
I have added a new exchange 2003 server to my site and have migrated all my users onto this new server, i have migrated all my public folders and connectors over, i have selected the new public folder store on the properties of the storage groups etc moved free/busy, oal, schedule+ etc, basically following the KB article to remove the first exchange 2003 server to the letter. However i havent removed the exchange installation on the old server yet as I would like to be in a situation where i could switch off the old exchange server for a few days just to make sure that there are no legacy apps pointing to it before i uninstall exchange. I have a problem where if i dismount the public store on the old server no user can access public folders using outlook, however when i access public folders through OWA they work fine. Most of my users use outlook 2000, getting them to use OWA isnt an option.
does anyone have any ideas on what i need to do next. do i have to reset the system folders using guidgen to get the users to point to the correct public folder store?
Thanks for any input
Chris
