Server Manager or mmc.exe crashing

Upon boot the server manager will run for a couple seconds of which you can try to quickly click on something to do and then that error message will pop up and make you close out of server manager. It states there is a snap in error but I cant find the .msc file that has the info in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried replacing CompMgmtLauncher.exe?

I have had similar issues, replacing the file fixed it. Copy from another server or extract it from the DVD.

Should be running from %SystemRoot%\system32\CompMgmtLauncher.exe
