Am I missing something. I thought and Longhorn with going to be x64 only but when checking the system requirments it looks like you can install it on a 32bit system.

Has anyone tried this?

When frustrated remember, in the computer world there is almost always a backdoor.

I loaded it (x86 version) onto a D620 dell laptop core2duo with 2 gigs of ram and truth be told it was a pretty intuitive interface, I liked each roles default screen that displayed the dependant services and their status. Installation of pretty much every component I wanted was very verrry seemless. (Almost scary with how few prompts there were). As far as performance it was very responsive but of course it wasnt put under much load as this was a laptop that had to be restore to XP the next day.

My thoughts so far are that it will take some serious getting used to, but become a system that puts alot of focus on being efficient as far as it relates to time management as every snap in is just a click away.
