I think my server's slowness is because of the ASP/SQL load that's being put on it (a 450Mhz K6-2 w/512M), and not the connection speed. So my question is... is there a way to see how long pages are taking to compile? Or get some idea how much resources it's taking to compile code/call SQL records, etc. Thanks for any help on this. Start perfmon.exe => goto system monitor => click the + => select your computer and active server pages => select request execution time => request executing => request failed => request queued and any other stuff you want to know.
If you are using sql server than you can add sql server objects as well in the "performance object list"
With lots of data activety it could be handy to check the disc IO "under processes"
You can allso make a log when you set a counter under "performance logs and alerts => counter logs"
