Server keeps "losing" CD-ROMs

I help with the computer networking & integration for a local school. We are experiencing 9our problem with the ProQuest® Searchware; When we have several students log onto ProQuest® @ the same time, presto, we begin declining from 7 avail. CDs to 0 (and it's NOT a slow decline) if I go to a set of computers that are networked to the same switch, different hub, and log on, I can reclaim the CDs with little difficulty; any ideas???<br>
