I been going around and around on this one. I know it has to be something simple. On the master terminal (just hooking up one terminal right now) it comes up syncs and seems to be working but give an error that server is down. I check everything and can't find a way to fix this error. The terminal can find and go into and create files on the server. Backoffice pc name is alohaboh, aloha drive is bootdrv, firewall is off, secury key is in ctlsrv is running. Any idea would be a great help
Thank you

also wanted to mention though that it works, even though the error is there. I also cleared out the tmp folder.

Pick a username and a password

Use the same username and password on server and terminals
Go to services and set CTLSVR and EDCSVR to login with same name and password

make sure you can ping each computer from the other
make sure you can connect to the bootdrv share on the BOH from term and connect to the bootdrv share on the term from BOH AND that you can copy and delete a file from term to the BOH (like you did) BUT ALSO from BOH to TERM

When you have more terms make sure you can do the same from term to term too

When you can do all above you still have to be sure that Aloha network NIC on the BOH is LANA 0 and the terminal NIC is LANA 0
