server.id problem on 4.6.6

Hi

in our office we have 1 Notes 4.6.6 server on NT 4.0

For the last couple of days whenever I try to do anything on the server using the Notes client I receive a pop-up window asking me to "Choose file to be used as Current ID". I select the server.id [in Notes\data] and then it will proceed. This afternoon I was refreshing a d/b that had over 500 documents and I received the prompt for every single document :-(
Why is this happening? I have never been prompted for this before & I haven't made any changes on the server.

in your notes.ini file, make sure you have an entry for
both the server and client id's:
example

keyfilename=server.id
serverkeyfilename=server.id
