Server has not yet been opened 3

Trying to use CR viewer in a VB project. When trying to show the viewer, message appears 'Server has not yet been opened'. I am on a stand-alone PC running VB6/VFP/CR8.

for this problem first u all would hv to login each table of ur databse with server. use the following syntax -

For Each dbTable In Report.Database.Tables
dbTable.SetLogOnInfo dbTable.LogOnServerName, dbTable.LogOnDatabaseName, <userid>, <password>
Next

paste it on form_load event of crviewer then load the viewer. hope this will be helpful to u.
