Server has not yet been opened!!!

This is a problem that keeps coming back to me and every time I resolve it, its by doing something different. Its back again and this time for no apparent reason, other than rebooting my pc!!

Can someone please help me resolve this problem?

I am using 8.0.0.371, connecting to an Oracle 7 database via an asp page.
This is the code I'm using to connect:
oCRTable.setlogoninfo "OR7_DB", "", "USERNAME", "PASSWORD"

OR7_DB is the database server name.

Problem solved. This article on the crystal decisions web site helped fix it (I had the oracle 8 client s/w on my dev server) - c2005154.
