Server has not yet been opened - oledb - 1 machine

Hi,

We have a Crystal Report (8.5) that works fine (in the program itself (CR Professional), on every machine except one developer's machine. When trying to refresh the report, she gets the error "Server has not yet been opened". The report uses OLEDB to connect to a SQL Database. This developer is a dbowner in the database (in case that matters).

Why would the report work on other user's machines and not on hers?

Are you using a Data Link file?

Can they create a new report using OLEDB that connects?

Something is missing, either MDAC or permissions.

Try logging in without using a trusted connection fromn that box, does it connect?
