I have two DL360 G3 Proliant servers each with 3.06 Ghz and 2 G Ram, and OS Windows Server 2003 SP1, and both running Presentation Server 4.0. They both have published applications accessible to users via Program Neighborhood and through the Web interface. Each works fine one server works great with serveral people accessing it daily. I schedule to reboot it once a week. The second server identical will run for a couple of days just fine and not have any issue and then just hang console screen goes black. We must manually reboot the server and it kicks off the users on the server. Then it reboots fine and works great for a couple more days. Does anyone know why this may be happening or could it be a hardware issue or SW issue with HP and Microsoft? Any help in this area or direction to look into would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks,

Paul

Cool, I'm not the only one with this problem. :) This doesn't happen on a Citrix Server for me, but rather on one of my DCs. It started happening after 2003 SP1, and only happens on one of my DCs. I tried debugging the kernel dump file but all I ever find is that the error was caused by an unknown driver fault.

It seems to happen about once a week, and I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause, as there's nothing in the event log at this time.

I suppose I should take the time to open a PSS support call, especially since MSFT gives me some free cals each year that I never use.
