Hi!
Our Server tries to establish a connection to our printer (HP Laserjet 2200dn) via ISDN-router at night. This ist forbidden because of the high costs.
In the day time we use an ISDN connection in our network so that a branch office can use the DSL connecion (and the data on the server) which is installed on the headquarter. At night there mustn't be an ISDN connection because of the high costs but the server tries to establish a connection with the printer. We don't want this connection at night and we think that the printer driver (PCL5e) is to blame an this problem. The printer driver is installed on the Server in the headquarter. Can somebody help us??
It would be nice if there is someone who can help us quickly. Thank you.

You don't tell us what your server OS is. You could probably set up some type of script to pause the print queue at night and re-enable it in the morning. With the queue on hold, it should not try to connect to the printer.

I can give you details on how to do this from a UNIX OS if needed.
