Hi All
I have been having quite a few issues with ACT, but this one is bringing everything to a standstill. I am using ACT! Version 8.0 with the newest updates applied.
My server failed (melted down to be exact). I now have a copy of the backup file for my main ACT database. I used "Restore As.." to put it on a different drive on a new server on a new domain (Domain was renamed when the new SBS2003 server was implemented). The users who used to sync with it cannot sync now. They can access it when they synchronise now, but they get the error:
(Unable to acquire sync server object. Server Error Description: Failed to find main database [\\OldServerName\OldACTDBName] for sync. Contact administrator for assistance.)
How can I change their remote databases to look at the new server name and new database name to synchronise. They have made updates in the meantime, so I do not want to create new remote databases for them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
