server error. CrystalEnterprise.Smtp - CE10

I am using CE10 Professional, I am trying to get the system to email me when a report has successfully run, I have entered the smtp settings on the reportjobserver, and enabled the CrystalEnterprise.SMTP. When I run the report it fail's with the following error.Status: Failed

Printer: The instance is not printed.

External Destination: None

Data Refresh Settings: Use the server defaults.

Start Time: 21/06/2004 16:59:09

End Time: 21/06/2004 16:59:21

Server Used: crystal10.reportjobserver

Error Message: server error. CrystalEnterprise.Smtp:




ANY IDEAS, HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Did you set and save the Destination parameter of the instance to Email(SMTP)?

Hi,
After further thought, you probably would not have gotten a SMTP error if the destination had not been set..So, it seems as if some of your SMTP settings are incorrect..
Can you mail any report usin ghte default settings?

My recurring report that is mailed has these properties ( edited to remove actual email info):

 Status: Recurring  
 
 External Destination: Mail the instance to " user@emailaddress " with a subject of " Your Departure Report ".  
 
 Start Time:  
 
 End Time:  
  
 
 Recurrence Type:  Run report on day 25 of the month.  
  
Next Run Time:  6/25/2004 4:30:00 AM  
  
Server Group:  Can be scheduled to any server group

My CE9 SMTP setup uses a servername of 'seekster', our smtp server. (It is different than the server used for CE.) I notice your response includes the CE service name as well as the server name (crystal10.reportjobserver). If SMTP is running on the CE server box, you may only need to use 'crystal10' as the Server Name in the configuration.
