Server Error: cannot rename file to "filename.htm.tmp"

I can't save web pages on my server because FrontPage tries to add a .tmp extension (even on pages that had been previously fine). How do I correct this problem?

Sometimes this is caused by your hosting company limiting how many files you can have on your website. You need to contact them and ask them if this is the case.

It could also be FPSE need to be checked as well.
