Hi

I'm going grey trying to work out why our server edition is unable to ping any local or external addresses, despite our VPN to the router it is connected to being up and us being able to get to the system either across the vpn or via the routers public IP/forwarded ports.. This issue means we cannot get the SIP trunks to come up. There is only a default route on the IPO with the correct and only gateway address (router IP) however if I try to ping from the trunk or ip routes sections of system status all addresses fail other than those at the other end of the VPN??

Sounds like the gateway is trying to route all traffic via the vpn, even the internet traffic which then falls. Speak to the network maintainers.

I had changed the WAN routing type to ROUTING instead of NAT as part of trying to resolve the issue, and when changing back to NAT I was then able to ping out, so can only assume the draytek was playing up following a recent firmware upgrade!

Thanks
