Hi Guys

Doing my first install of server edition
ipo rel 11.0.1

Primary server with SBC sip lines
Secondary server with SBC sip lines
500V2 expansion with analogue cards -Pots lines

these are installed on 3 different sites
Primary will have about 250 users J100 series sip phones
Secondary will have about 60 users J100 series sip phones
500v2 Expansion will have 50 users j100 series phones.

my main question is regarding the hunt groups.

I have them on the Primary server at present

Do they need to be all programmed on the Primary server for the other 2 sites
or is it best to programme then on there own servers

example the 500v2 expansion ..should I programme there hunt groups on this system
the reason I am asking is I have a reception phone set up with OOS and NS buttons to set the hunt group to different phones and OOS mailbox

when I did the failover resilence test the phones Personal voicemail worked ok but the 2 OOs and NS buttons didn't function.
they didn't take the huntgroup out of service therefore didn't go to mailbox

when I reverted back to the Primary all worked as normal.

so when I created the Hunt group on the Expansion for the Reception they seemed to work ok.
did the resilience test and they worked.

so I am not 100% sure as to were the hunt groups shoud be programmed
does it mater..
should the expansion Hunt groups fail over to the secondary when the Primary goes down.

Any help will be greatly accepted...

Usually the hunt groups should fall over to secondary as long as it is configured to do so in the IP Office line that connects the two machines.
