Is it possible to do external music on hold with server edition? We have an expansion unit with a music on hold device connect to the back audio port. On the server edition, the only option is wav. If there is not a wav file, will it hit the external device somehow? I can't get it to work.

There is no external music on hold on the server edition.
Can't you use the external port on the expansion system?
I think this is mentioned in the installation docs.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

IPO Linux server is WAV file only. If you have an expansion unit with digital trunks you may be able to set the MOH source via the incomming call route and have the MOH plugged into the expansion. But even then that may not work because the incomming call routes live on the primary server. If the phones are registered to the Primary server, placeing a call on hold will require a WAV file if you want hold music.
