I am having an issue with my hunt group mailboxes filling up. They are all set to forward (not copy) to email so they shouldn't keep any messages in the mailbox. They are receiving the email like normal. In the VM Pro client it shows no messages but taking up storage space. If I use WinSPM and go in to those accounts, I can see the messages and I am able to delete them there. It doesn't do it on all group mailboxes but it is always the same ones. I have created all new hunt groups from scratch (did not copy group) with new names and new extensions but the problem is still there. Any one have this issue? All the users are using forward too and they are not having any problems.

Maybe the voicemails couldn’t be sent to their email and got queued till 2nd attempt? Check the vmpro logs.
 
Indeed, You said set to forward, so are they forwarding? The system doesn't get rid of the messages until they have actually forwarded.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
