Hi

We have a server edition (Physical machine, Dell R210) AND all the handsets are on LAN2 and use DHCP from the SE
What we are finding though is that DCHP will stop working after a period of time, requiring a reboot to start again.

When I say stops working this only becomes apparent if a phone is unplugged or rebooted - it will not get an address.

Phones that stay connected seem to renew their leases OK

System in 10.0. LAN1 is connected to the customers LAN for applications and IPOCC.

Has anyone else come across anything similar?

Cheers

which release of V10.0? - if not already on the latest maint release then an upgrade is probably a good star point (& you can go to V10.1 without additional licences)

this is probably an issue with the customers data network (i always is) so check the Vlan configuration of he data switched & also check lldp is correctly configured

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I had that with 10.1 and got a CP from Avaya based on SP1
