Hi guys,

Im having a problem, it has only just come about!

When I enter manage your server or configure your server. It says I cannot use it to manage my server due to it being a cluster nodes. I have read up on managing clusters with no idea what to do.

There is also a problem with using GPC Modelling wizard, due to RPC Server being unavailable. I have checked this RPC Services on the server and they are started.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Damon

Does your server have the Cluster Service installed and running? What sort of storage does this server use? Are you sure it's not part of a cluster?

Are there any services that are set to Automatic that aren't running?

What's the exact error message you're getting?

Hi,

The server does not have cluster service installed as far as I know.

The server only has 1 hard drive in it currently.

How do I find out if it is part of a cluster? I ran cluster administrator and it does not find any!

The error I get is:

CLUSTER NODES CANNOT BE MANAGED BY MANAGE YOUR SERVER
Because this server is a member of a server cluster (also called a cluster node) you cannot manage it with manage your server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Damon
