server can't see tape drives

I am new to the tape library.
there are some T9940 and T9840 in the library 9310 in our environment. they were fibre connected to 2 solaris host. on the switch side, all the fibre connection and zoning are good. but there are 2 tape drives that the solaris can't see. And ACSLS server can't see one tape drive.
Can somebody tell me how to diagnosis the problem?
