We have a few complex reports that when attempting to run, we'll receive an error about the Server not being able to find the primary request id <hex>. The error occurs most often before displaying the prompt page, but sometimes after answering all the prompts and clicking finish. The reports run great, just every once in awhile this error pops up, sometimes consistently for an hour or so, and then it just runs. The log file shows the same error, just "cannot find primary request id", so there isn't a whole lot to go on as far as looking into where the issue is.
Since the report is interactive (has prompts), I was just curious if anyone has encountered this error and if so, if increasing the # of high affinity connections for the interactive report server helped in the resolution. I've not upped anything yet, but that's the only setting that seems like it would help out in this situation.
