All,
I'm Using VB 6.0, and picking data from Excel through OLE, using the Excel and Sheet objects. On certain sheets--not always the same one, the VB app stops and gives the above message, with a Retry and Switch-to option. Now, I've had this dialog box appear before using Access OLE, and it was always Access requesting some parameter for a query or form source or something, ie, something obvious. Here, I switch to Excel and there is no obvious dialog box asking for anything, the cells being accessed are valid, data is valid, everything seems fine, but it seems to be waiting for something. Further, this error doesn't happen on certain machines, it appears to be maybe a version conflict between the object reference and the actual excel.exe or .olb files. Does anyone have any suggestions or avenues I might look at? Thanks,
--Jim
