server: bind a program to an IP eth0:1 1

Hi!

My server has 4 ip address.... eth0 eth0:1 eth0:2 and so on..

I have a deamon (geneweb). I want this software to listen only to eth0:2 on port 2317. How can I do that?

PS: There is no configuration in the program itself to listen to an interface or ip adress.

You can probably configure an entry in
/etc/services for the tcp or udp and port number
and then bind an xinetd entry....

I have a hunch that DJB's tcpserver might afford greater control still.
