I have this book by Trevor Kay, it was publiched in 2001 but since then there have been a few technological updates like SATA/SAS and motherboard slots like PCI express etc. This book doesn't cover any of these.

Should i buy a more upto date book? i have 6 years tech support with servers and desktops but there's always something you don't know!

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

Go to the CompTIA site and purchase the "official" guide to the updated version of the exam and the bible will serve as a good study book. You can do a little further research on the net and you'll be fine. The Trevor Kay book is good.
