Hi all,
I have a Compaq Proliant DL740 server that I would like to do some performance benchmarking on. Over time, the server seems to be processing data slower and slower and I would like to be able to compare how it running, to how it should be running. I am not a server expert, so I question whether or not I have it set up to run as efficiently as it could be, is there a software program (or anything else) I could use to quantifiably measure how it's running?
If what the server is used for is at all helpfull,
I use it as a development server running sql server 2000. The server processes 100's of gigs of data each month.
