Server 2016 IIS - When opening default web page in Edge (chromium) it downloads rather than opening

I have a new server running 2016 R2. I want to put a really simple web site on it that runs on 2008 and 2012 fine.

When I run it on 2016 I'm missing something, if I open the site as a default page (not specifying a page) using Edge Chromium the browser downloads the page rather than opening it.

In IE, FireFox, Brave and Chrome it opens fine, just in Edge it doesn't.

If I specify the page

http://www.mydomain.com/default.asp

it opens fine everywhere.

Anyone have an idea as to what I am missing?

Found it.

I tried to open the site in Edge - before I had it configured completely, Edge cached the download and then never submitted a request to the server after that.

Cleared the cache and it works.

Now to set the cache to not do that...
