Server 2012 shared storage

I found out that in server 2012 to create shared storage to your cluster, the only available option is to use iSCSI drives. Is this true? My storage uses redundant SaS and after several days of trying HA setup I can't get my shared storage to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving.
