Server 2008 Enterprise Resoultion Problems

Hi All

I have installed Windows server 2008 Enterprise edition on my PC, and I dont get the resolution I had before on Windows 7. The resolution I currently have is 1024x768, and 600x800..

How can I get more options for usage... I have a 22" wide screen monitor and this resolution is not going to work. Any tricks that I may not be aware of?

HI this is a litle emberacing but I dont know what my Vide card is, or what its called

I looked in device meanger and in dxdiag (Direct diagnostics tool) but any info aboiut the video card is not aviabile

OK I found out what kind of Graphic Card it is
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

I cannot seem to find a driver that works for this adapter. Some websites on google direct me to look for windows updates but I keep coming up empty on the updates.

Any suggestions?

Ok I figured it out... When I installed a copy of Server 2008 to the notebook, the system didint wipe out the previous OS and created a Windows.old folder with all old files. What I did was went to device manager and cliked on the adapter and selected update device driver, selected browse localy and went into C:Windows.old\System32 and found the driver there.

Just FYI if anyone encounters the same issue
