I have a PDC with a RAID 1 system drive that was to small. I made a clone of the drive than re sized the partition and when i put the image back on...It boots fine! ALTHOUGH in disk management the partition size states 60GB but the system drive only thinks its 10GB the same size as before with 5% free space!!! Is there a way to make it get a clue to its real partition size???

You need a 3rd pary product to expand the partition, like partionmagic, etc. You can't just swap the drive.

You can also go a reformat and restore, but partionmagic will be easier.

I used a 3rd party partition utility. It broke the install because it did not support my hardware mirror which i though was strange.

I have also formatted and restored but when i restore the image windows 2003 still thinks its on a 10GB partition when the disk shows 60GB in disk management.

Its weird.

If you used Ghost to image the server, you can resize the C: partition as part of putting the image back onto the server. Otherwise it is something like PM as already mentioned.
