I'm upgrading a Server 2003 Std to Server 2003 Enterpise tonight and i've run through the process 3 times now in MS Virtual PC. Each time the upgrade has completed successfully but the splash screen at start up still says Server 2003 Standard edition. When i right click on my computer and select properties, it confirms that it is enterprise edition.

Is there a way i can update the splash screen or a fix for this?

Thanks

Paul

If it's not broken don't fix it? what is the negative impact?

Look at the setup.bmp in the c:\windows\system32 folder. Is that the graphic that is wrong?

Thanks for replying guys. I meant to post back on this forum earlier but i've been so busy i forgot.

I carried out the upgrade on the live server and it went well. The splash screen is showing the correct information. The only thing i can think of is that Virtual PC is messing things up a little on my tests, shouldn't but i did it 4 times with the same result.

Thanks again.
