Server 2003 Enterprise Configuring Static IP

Hello i have a issue with configuring a static Ip with my server. when i configure my server with an IP address using the Network connections, it configures the IP Address fine. If i would go back into the network connections, the server reverts back to automaticlly obtain an Ip address ( i just cancel it so it doesnt make changes). If i would reboot the server, it looks for a IP address.

Am i missing something here?
