server 2003 and Netware password sync

Hey all

I have the following problem. We are running a dual login with a Windows server 2003 DC running Active Directory and we also have a Netware 5 (Netware client 4.91 sp1a) which we login to.

First of all the user logs into Netware which we configure to also connect to the DC. All is fin except we cannot sync the two passwords to each other as the option is greyed out.

Any idea's?

The one that sorted it was to disable NMAS as we do not use it on our network and then the synchronisation occured!

We use Novell's DirXML, which allows us to manage everything from one place, and this has also solved the problem. Although it does cost money. If you have a really large network, it's worth looking into. Also, have you tried Services for Netware? Although Microsoft says it is a temporary solution, you could try it as well.
