i followed the install instructions PERFECTLY. i editted httpd.conf file so it points to C:\........\apache\realdocs in both documentroot and <directory.....>

i created a basic file to test the website using 1st page 2001 and saved it as index.html

i went to administrative tools then to services, clicked on apache then clicked restart.

i opened up Internet Explorder and typed in and it brings up the page i made but if i go to any other computer in my house it says "page cannot be displayed" which means it does not exist
i asked some of my ICQ friends to check it out and they all said the same thing: does not exist.

the irony here is that my webpage WORKED 5 DAYS AGO!!!
it worked totaly perfect and i was adding links, registered my own forum and put pics up. a few days after it was up my buddy called me up and said that he can't view my webpage even though it was still up and running. i asked my ICQ buddies to check it out and they told me it does not work also. i posted the question about 3 threads below this and the advice didn't work so i am posting again.

some notes to remember while responding to this:
-it worked 5 days ago
-it stopped working about 2 days ago
-changing to port 8000 didn't help
-i reinstalled about 20 minutes ago
-i can see the page when i use my ip in internet explorer but others cannot

I can see it, too - Chooco's website, with Player Stats and these Server Stats:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP1700+ 1466mHz
RAM: 512MB PC2100 Kingston DDR RAM
HDD: Maxtor 60GB 5400PRM
ISP SPEED: 1.5MB down/512KB up ADSL

Hi,

Same again - works here. Is it still a problem elsewhere in the house ?

Regards
