Ok guys. I am tired of hitting my head against the wall. It seems this should be easy but everytime I think I've found a solution it just doesn't work in our network setup.

Heres the jist of it.

We have a NT domain with windows 2000 clients on it. These clients were configured before I came onboard so I don't know how they configured them. The users are not using roaming profiles. You can log on as a regular domain user and get our departments default profile. Works great.

We are replacing thes systems with WinXPpro systems. For the life of me I can't get the XP box to cooperate following any of the guides I've found online. Either they refer to local lockdowns only (not connected to domain) or the deal with active directory.

I need to have the NT domain users be able to log onto the XP pc and receive a default desktop profile.... color, company logo, Office 2003 shortcuts plus a couple other apps on the desktop. Ive tried copying a user profile (local) I created to the default user profile but when I log on as a domain user I get the standard windows logon.

Can anyone help?
